Hi-how did you get on here? - I went to Chester Races this year and had a great time, won a bit of cash and the Hotel in Chester we were staying in was lovely - would recommend Chester - lovely place.

A tricky run Karen, stick with it though, you must still be well in front.
Good Luck

Sorry NO. Ive tried a lot of so called systems in the past myself and none seemed to work. Decided the only way was use various bits from different systems and get a system for myself, the selections will posted here every day if you want to give it a try.

Always pays to be on the conservative side with staking.
I also use a percentage of the bank type staking but I don't cut stakes after a losing, it seems crazy to me to have less on a winner after backing a loser. To operate like this though the bank has to be strong enough to withstand the losers and still allow the full stakes when more…

No not really, I use a percentage of the bank staking plan (only use level stakes as an example ) which I must admit is rather conservative and I do not lay anything over 11.0. At the moment I'm looking at being a bit more aggresive in the staking department, at the moment up to odds of 3.5 1% of bank, 3.55 to 7.2 0.6% of bank and 7.4 to 11.0 0.4% more…

Nice one Karen, I notice you lay some at fairly long prices, does it not worry you too much when one you've layed goes in at 10.0 and wipes out a stack of profit? I know you probably make money opposing the longer ones but from a psychological point of view I find laying at long odds tough. When I do play (and its usually dogs rather than horses fo more…

A good run Karen, you must still be well in front despite Bagan going in today.

You're on a good run, sounds like you keep records which is a big help, they can help you when things go wrong in that they can show you that you've identified winners (or losers!) in the past and where you may have been going wrong.
Good Luck

Hi,thanks for your comments.
Im not totally convinced myself,I thought long and hard before doing it then I thought why not if it works it works if it fails I go into hiding.
I feel a lot happier now since I made some changes mid January, not near as many selections but hopefully better quality, time will tell.

Good luck Karen, getting against short one's in handicaps is always a good policy.
I'm still not convinced that going public with selections is the right thing, I feel even more stupid tipping up a loser in print but it does make you look at your betting in a different way and its a good way of keeping a record of what you're doing.

Take advice from a regular punter....the only rich people in racing are the bookies. However I will look at the 3.10 Plumpton result either with regret at not having backed your selection or a smug look on my face.... I told you so!!!
